The challenge
ITMakeovers needed someone they could add to a project team without losing time on onboarding - a developer who could quickly find their way around someone else's codebase, work well with the rest of the team, and take full ownership of an assigned piece, even while working under their brand, for their client rather than his own.
How I did it
Getting up to speed on someone else's project, fast
Instead of starting from scratch, every new project meant stepping into ITMakeovers' existing code, conventions and workflow - and doing it fast enough not to slow the rest of the team down.
Full ownership of the assigned scope
For some tasks - a specific section, subpage or panel - I worked independently start to finish, delivering a finished, tested piece of a larger project.
Trust built over years, not one project
The collaboration started in 2024 and continues today, covering one ITMakeovers client project after another - including unisved.eu and Astoria Business Club - alongside many others.
